And the Justin Bieber-related antics in South Africa continue. Only this time, a lot of money — $100,000! — plus an elaborate heist are involved…

Following the success of his Believe tour concert in Johannesburg this past Sunday, thieves broke into a strongroom of FNB stadium, and stole the cash collected from Bieber’s show.

According to BBC News, the gang, armed with ropes, hammers and chisels, made a clean getaway. A police officer explains, “The money was taken from the building and they only realized today. We don’t know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence.”

Despite the lack of knowledge as to the number of people included, details on the break-in have been released. The robbers “may have taken several days to chisel their way through a thick wall at the FNB stadium outside Johannesburg. They then lowered themselves by rope into a room used to store cash and escaped undetected.” The most plausible entryway is through the roof.

The latest news comes only days after Bieber went to a South African jungle with his pal, popped some beers and posted a picture from the event on his Instagram page. So far, Teen readers have gone back and forth as to whether this was a good idea on the 19-year-old singer’s part.
