Shortly after The Fault in Our Stars got turned into a movie, it was announced that John Green’s Paper Towns was also headed to the big screen. Then, just a few weeks later, we found out that Looking For Alaska would also be adapted into a film! Whew — think JG’s done? Wrong! According to DeadlineLet It Snow, a series of short stories co-written by John Green, Lauren Myracle and Maureen Johnson has been optioned by Universal!

For those not familiar, being ‘optioned’ basically means that Universal bought the rights to adapt the story into a movie, but there’s no guarantee that it’ll make it to the big screen. But despite the uncertainty, the authors are already celebrating!

Also joining in on the party are fans of the the book!

If you haven’t read Let It Snow yet, we suggest you add it to your list right away! Here’s the book’s summary in the meantime:

Sparkling white snowdrifts, beautiful presents wrapped in ribbons, and multicolored lights glittering in the night through the falling snow. A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms one small town into a romantic haven, the kind you see only in movies. Well, kinda. After all, a cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere would not normally end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger. And no one would think that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would lead to love with an old friend. Or that the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks. Thanks to three of today’s bestselling teen authors—John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle—the magic of the holidays shines on these hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and breathtaking kisses.
