10 Joe Biden Memes That’ll Make You Miss Him as VP Before He’s Even Gone
Last night, President Barack Obama delivered his farewell address to a large audience of supporters in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to talking about race issues, the future of America and his family, the 44th President of the United States of America also gave a touching shout out to his best friend, Vice President Joe Biden.
“To Joe Biden, the scrappy kid from Scranton who became Delaware’s favorite son: you were the first choice I made as a nominee, and the best. Not just because you have been a great vice president, but because in the bargain, I gained a brother. We love you and Jill like family, and your friendship has been one of the great joys of our life,” Obama emotionally said.
After the 74-year-old was finished composing himself, he gave his “brother” a wink and a finger gun, which has become his signature move throughout his eight years in office. After the Internet shed many tears over the thought that this beautiful man would no longer be their VP, they did what they do best in tough situations — created memes! Here are some of the best of the ‘JB finger gun’ meme that came our of BO’s final speech:
2. Gotta let you know you hear him!
4. The final finger gun salute *cries*
5. Surrounded by a bunch of rebels, TBH.
6. ~*true love*~
8. NBD or anything, though…
9. You gotta avoid conversation somehow:
10. PLEASE DON’T LEAVE US!!!!
Here’s how queer YouTubers reacted to Donald Trump’s election:
It's been almost two years since Connor came out as gay to his YouTube family, and ever since then he's been one of the biggest advocates for LGBTQ+ rights. The 24-year-old tried to remain positive in light of the election results, but ultimately is letting himself feel "devastated." He tweeted:
"You are not who you say you are. You are who you show you are. After tonight we need to show the world. The people we ultimately want to be. Today is horrible // tomorrow is hopeful, but in all honestly I'm devastated and just trying to find light."
