J.K. Rowling Reveals the ‘Harry Potter’ Character She Misses Most

Good Morning America

The Harry Potter 15th anniversary celebrations continue as author J.K. Rowling speaks about the beloved book series on Good Morning America. Although she’s mostly moved on from the phenomenon with novels like The Casual Vacancy and The Cuckoo’s Calling, there’s still one HP character she wishes she could bring back to life. And no, it’s not Harry Potter himself…

During her GMA interview, she reveals, “Of all the other characters in the Harry Potter series, [Dumbledore’s] the one I miss the most… I feel like I wrote Dumbledore from the back of my head. Sometimes he said things and told Harry things that I only knew I knew or believed until I saw that I had written them down in the voice of Dumbledore. He was the character who was hardest to leave for me. He was the person who I’d have come back physically and sit and talk to me. It would be Dumbledore.”

The Harry Potter box set featuring all of the 15th anniversary covers is available starting today. Will you be picking it up? Which HP character do you miss most? Tell us in the comments!
