Here’s Why Jennifer Lawrence Usually Refuses to Take Selfies with Fans
When it comes to Jennifer Lawrence, many see her as an open book, because she’s just so darn honest about almost everything in her life. However, be that as it may, there are definitely a lot of things that she likes to keep private and refuses to do in public…like take selfies with fans.
In her September 2017 Vogue magazine spread, the 26-year-old actress revealed that while she loves meeting her supporters, she most likely will decline someone’s request for a picture. And here’s why:
“I’m happy to meet people, give autographs, shake hands, and say thank you; I wouldn’t have a job if people weren’t going to see my movies. It’s just…if I’m on an airplane and I have no makeup on, I don’t want to take a selfie that’s going to end up on E!”
Fair enough! Hey, we all have our own selfie preferences, and some people just aren’t always comfortable when they’re not fully dolled up.
While the Passengers actress likes to keep a lot of her private life, private, she was actually pretty candid about her boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky.
“We had energy. I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me. I normally don’t like Harvard people, because they can’t go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard. He’s not like that…for the past year, I’ve been dealing with him as a human. I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I’m never confused with him.”
Aside from opening up about her personal life, J.Law also took a moment to praise Ariana Grande for her impeccable Saturday Night Live impersonation. The Hunger Games star described the singer’s impression as “spot-f*cking-on,” and we honestly could not agree more!
