We Went to the Jake Paul NYC Pop-Up Shop & It’s Every Team 10 Fan’s Dream
’tis the season for pop-up shops!
Last month, we visited Taylor Swift‘s pop-up shop in New York City, in celebration of her latest album, Reputation, and it was LIT. This week, we had quite the different pop-up shop experience… but we can safely say that it was equally lit. C’mon, how could it not be? It was all about the guy who invented “Litmas!” That’s right, folks — Jake Paul.
From Friday, December 8 through Sunday, December 10, Team 10 took over SIR Stage37 in NYC. So you can bet that basically every child/tween/teen (and parent) from the Tri-State Area (and beyond!) turned up for the chance to snag merchandise, take pictures, listen to Team 10’s new holiday music and potentially meet their YouTube idol(s), regardless of the chilly weather.
Considering that JP’s Los Angeles pop-up shop was shut down due to “too many people,” it’s not at all surprising to us to see the massive turnout, even in the frigid temperature. But, according to Jake, he continues to be amazed by the fandom.
“I’m always shocked by how hyped everyone is. Like, they were just chanting my name,” he told Clevver, exclusively. “Like, I’ll go days without seeing fans or something like that, then we show up here… I’ll never get used to it, I don’t think.”
You may know the Disney Channel alum for the dramatic headlines he frequents or the prank videos he posts on his YT channel, but when asked why he believes the fans (a.k.a. Jake Paulers) tune in every day
bro, he said, “I think the #1 thing is entertainment, in general. Whether I’m making someone laugh or whether they want to be a part of my day or just watching what we’re doing, what other kids in the world are doing… overall, just entertainment.”
And, fortunately, Jake’s uses his star power for good. He turned his pop-up shop into a three-day toy drive, with Team 10 members, including Nick Crompton, encouraging attendees to donate unwrapped toys so they can give them to kids in need:
While we’re here in NY, we partnered with the NYPD SBA to make their Blue Christmas toy drive amazing!
When you come to the pop-up, if you can, please bring an unwrapped toy so we can spread joy to NYC kids in need! We’re donating a bunch too ☺️

He really does love kids — and, clearly, kids love him back. (Just look at me with Jake and one particular young Pauler.)

So, how does someone join Team 10? After all, it’s every Pauler’s dream! Welp, it’s not easy. In Justin Roberts‘ case, Jakey said they were “friends already,” so it was an easy transition to go from “Freshman to a member of Team 10.”
Oh well, a kid can dream… and at least there’s plenty of merchandise for you to
cry into pretend like you’re actually in Team 10. If you didn’t get a chance to snag any for yourself at one of the pop-up shops, click here for your opportunity. Here’s what was available for the attendees:
Oh! FYI, for those who wanted to know, we spoke to Jake about Vine 2, and it doesn’t seem like he’ll be making his return to the platform that originally shot him and his brother, Logan Paul, to stardom. “Vine is dead,” he told us. Merp.
