6 Awesome Times the Glee Cast Reunited on Television After the Fox Series Ended
As of March 20, 2017, it will be two years since the series finale of Glee. TWO FREAKIN’ YEARS!!! Though plenty of the Fox TV dramedy’s stars have gone on to bigger and better things, and have even walked down the aisle since, we still can’t help but bring things back to the good ol’ days of musical television. Sigh.
We’ll have you know that, come Monday, the anniversary of the end date of Glee, three of your favorites from the show are reuniting on screen. Coincidence? Probably… but how cool is that?? So, keeping that in mind, we’re looking at six awesome times the Glee cast members reunited on television ever since they left:
When Darren Criss met up with his old pals on their post-Glee series.
Ever since their stints on Glee ended, Grant Gustin (Sebastian Smythe) and Melissa Benoist (Marley Rose) have been doing quite well for themselves, starring on The CW's The Flash and Supergirl, respectively. Their characters, for which the TV series are named, have done the whole crossover thing before... but, for the first time, a third Gleek is joining 'em.
On March 21, you'll get to see Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson) alongside his fellow Warbler and fellow New Directions member once more, as he will portray the DC Comics villain known as the Music Meister.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "After being whammied by the Music Meister, Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Barry (Grant Gustin) find themselves trapped in an alternate reality in which life is like a movie musical. The only way to wake up? Follow the Meister's script till the end."
