The Gigi Hadid Photoshop Job That’s Pissing Fans the Eff Off

By  |

Photoshop is a touchy subject; basically, if it ever makes the news, it’s not for a good reason. Female celebrities have called out ridiculous Photoshop jobs on more than one occasion. Remember when Ashley Benson bashed a promo for Pretty Little Liars, her own TV show? She called out, “We all look ridiculous. Way too much Photoshop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It’s not attractive.”

Fellow PLL star Troian Bellisario hopped on the bandwagon, saying, “I couldn’t agree more. Very cool concept as always. But aren’t we attractive enough women as we are? Why can’t we just look like us? Once.”

Magazine covers, in particular, LIVE for Photoshop, sometimes going way too far with the airbrush tool. Gigi Hadid‘s recent spread for Vogue China falls into the mix. Here’s what the 20-year-old supermodel looks like sans Photoshop (as far as we know):

Notice anything (or things) missing? If not, here’s another photo opp that Photoshopped out the same parts of the “Pillowtalk” beauty:

If you look back and forth, you’ll see that the glossy publication airbrushed out all of Gigi’s stomach moles. Like… why? While the magazine hasn’t commented on the topic of her missing beauty marks, fans certainly are all over Instagram:

One user asked, “WHERE ARE YOUR CUTE LIL FRECKLES?… WHY WOULD YOU PHOTOSHOP THAT?”

“You don’t have moles on your stomach,” said another.

Honestly, what was the point? These celebrities have embraced their skin imperfections, so magazines should, too.
