Finn Wolfhard Calls Out Fans for Harassing Stranger Things Co-Stars

Stranger ThingsFinn Wolfhard was recently criticized after a video surfaced of him walking past a group of fans waiting outside his hotel without taking pictures. Many celebrities, including Sophie Turner and the 14-year-old’s co-stars, quickly came to his defense, which also caused THEM to receive backlash. Now, the young actor who plays Mike Wheeler on the Netflix hit, is firing back.

“Hey everybody! I don’t wanna ex-communicate anyone from this fandom, but if you are for real you will not harass my friends, or co-workers,” he wrote on Twitter yesterday.

The teenager continued, “Y’all know who you are. Why I even have to tweet that, I don’t know. Anyone who calls themselves a ‘fan’ and actively goes after someone for literally acting and doing their job is ridiculous. Think b4 ya type boiiii.”

Finn could also possibly be referring to another incident he faced recently, where 27-year-old model Ali Michaels posted a picture of him on Instagram and wrote, “Not to be weird but hit me up in 4 years @finnwolfhardofficial.”

The Canadian teen called the model’s post “nuts” and “gross,” and she eventually apologized for making it.

“It was never my intention (nor has it ever been) to sexualize a minor in any way shape or form,” Ali said in a statement. “To those I offended or misled, I apologize for a post made in haste and lacking in sensitivity, particularly considering the landscape of the present culture.”
