The Fifty Shades Freed Trailer Teases Sex, Revenge & So Much More

By  |

You know what they say, all good things must come to an end and it’s no different for the Fifty Shades franchise. Unfortunately, this means that Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele’s (Dakota Johnson) love story on the big screen is about to come to an end… but not before releasing one last steamy movie we all know we truly deserve.

The third and final movie, Fifty Shades Freed, will make its debut February 2018 — which is SUCH a long ways away, but thankfully we have the official trailer to hold us all over until then. And you guys, the trailer makes it look like it’s going to be a masterpiece.

In the beginning of the film’s trailer, we see both Christian and Ana finally wedded and genuinely happily married; touring the European countryside on their extensive honeymoon trip; and having a ton of wild sex because, hello, that’s totally their M.O. As much as we want the happiness to never end, it comes to a complete halt when those who are looking to get between Christian and Ana get in the way.

First there’s Gia, played by Arielle Kebbell, the architect building the couple’s dream home. Gia totally makes her motives known when she blatantly hits on Christian right in front of his wife. Then Ana’s former boss, Jack Hyde, played by Eric Johnson, comes back into the picture.

If you haven’t seen Fifty Shades Darker, prepare yourself for a *SPOILER ALERT*, but if you have seen it, the end of the film teased Jack’s return for revenge and Fifty Shades Freed is set to pick up where that story line left off.

It goes without saying, but fans are ECSTATIC over the official trailer. A number of fans tweeted hilarious reaction GIFs to watching Fifty Shades Freed‘s trailer. One fan couldn’t contain their excitement and tweeted in all-caps while another even went as far as to predict Fifty Shades Freed would be the best of all three movies:

Guess we’ll just have to wait until February to see if Fifty Shades Freed will live up to its hype. But honestly, after seeing the trailer, it looks pretty promising.
