Fifth Harmony Sparks Breakup Rumors After Canceling Australian Tour Dates

By  |

OMG, you guys, is Fifth Harmony breaking up for good? The girls JUST announced the cancellation of their Australian tour, and now fans are fearing the worst.

But before you get too concerned, as of right now, the girl group is still together and haven’t made any announcements stating otherwise. But, we’re not gonna lie… fans are pretty concerned about 5H’s future together. It’s important to note, though, that this is not the first time this happened. Just last year, Fifth Harmony canceled several European tour dates on the 7/27 Tour.

On Tuesday, TEG Live, the promoter for 5H, announced that the Australian tour was canceled due to “necessary scheduling requirements.” Of course, stuff like this happens with artists all of the time, but due to the recent news that Lauren Jauregui is making the switch from Epic to Columbia Records to release her own solo album, combined with the fact that Normani just released a song with Khalid and has shared solo aspirations of her own, fans are utterly convinced this is the end for Fifth Harmony as we know it.

Worried fans took to Twitter immediately after the news broke to express their concern for the future of the girl group:

We certainly hope that a breakup isn’t the case for the girls and that they continue to make music together for a very long time. If you’re an Australian Harmonizer who bought tickets to one of the canceled shows, you will be fully refunded. Other shows, including the ones scheduled for Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Philippines, Singapore and Orlando throughout February and March will still go on as planned.

Here’s to hoping the girls make their way back to Australia soon!
