6 Female YouTubers Who Admitted to Having an Eating Disorder in 2016

Back in October, YouTube gamer Adam Dahlberg went a bit M.I.A. from his channel. When the 23-year-old finally came back to the Internet, he made a shocking reveal — “I’ve been in a mental hospital for the past week for clinical depression and bulimia, which is an eating disorder. I can’t really eat food without getting very anxious and panicky… I’ve been hiding this for the past three years or so,” he said.

Adam’s battle with bulimia was definitely unexpected, but it definitely wasn’t the first time a YouTuber (or male celebrity) opened up about having an eating disorder. In 2016 alone, six popular female YT stars bravely opened up about their EDs.
