Nick Jonas is Not Here for a Fan Who Made Fun of His Height on Instagram
Not every male celebrity is blessed with the height gene. Stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Zac Efron, Usher and Joe Jonas are all under 5’9″, which is the average height for males in the United States. While some sources say Nick Jonas hits the ~average~ cutoff (others claim he’s only 5’7″), he’s definitely not among the tallest of guys in Hollywood.
A fan named Zak Hanzal ran into the 24-year-old on a street in Canada recently and asked him to stop for a picture. Nick obliged, but when Zak uploaded the shot on Instagram, he decided to throw some shade.
“You need a few more inches bruhh,” the guy wrote, clearly referring to how the former Disney Channel star was quite a bit shorter.
NJ ended up seeing the post, which he was tagged in, and simply couldn’t bite his tongue.
“You need some manners ‘bruh,'” Nick fired back. “I didn’t need to stop to take that picture with you. Just rude. Very rude.”
We’re sure the fan was #SHOOKETH that a celebrity not only commented on one of his Insta pics, but also threw a straight-up savage diss. He quickly changed the caption to read, “one of the most humble superstars…MY MAN @nickjonas,” but the damage had obviously already been done.
The “Remember I Told You” singer is usually not bothered by his height, having dated women who stand taller. Both Delta Goodrem, who Nick romanced in 2011, and Kendall Jenner, who he reportedly had a fling with in 2015, come in at 5’10”.
Was Zak wrong for making fun of Nick’s stature? Of course. As the crooner said, it was “very rude.” The curly haired cutie handled the diss very well, though, and we must say — we’re kind of living for sassy Nick!
