11 Sets of Celebrity Sisters Who are in an Awesome Band Together
October 7, 2018
tons of families in music. The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, The Jonas Brothers… the list goes on! Considering the fact that musical talent is often genetic, it makes sense! Not to mention, professional connections are a lot easier when your parents are already established musicians.
Even when music runs in the family, it’s still surprising that so many siblings get together to form bands. Anyone with brothers and/or sisters knows that bickering is pretty much a daily occurrence, and sometimes siblings even straight up
hate each other! So it’s honestly kind of a miracle that some sibs can stick it out.
There are more
brother bands out there than we can count, but who should let them have all fun? There are also tons of sister groups out there, too, and they’re totally badass!

Alana, Danielle and Este Haim (HAIM)
The Haim sisters are total BAMFs! These Cali girls have been working together as a band since 2012 and they can rock out harder than most male musicians! Their full sound is all thanks to their proficiency in multiple instruments, which include guitar, bass, drums, piano and percussion.
Before they were HAIM,
Danielle and Este got their start in music with a band called the Valli Girls. They were featured on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants soundtrack and even performed at the 2005 Kids' Choice Awards, but the sisters left shortly after that. After Danielle's run as a touring guitarist, the girls grabbed little sis Alana and formed their own group, which we all know and love today.
