10 TV Shows That Made You Think Your Fave Character Died… But They Didn’t!
Every now and then, our favorite shows like to give us a good ol’ heart-attack by tricking us into believing that our very favorite characters are dead. Thanks a bunch, guys! The world is still waiting on eggshells to find out the very buzzed about “death” of Game of Thrones‘ leading man, Jon Snow (Kit Harington). Despite being seen on the set of Season 6, we’ve been told time and time again that his days are done, so here’s hoping that’s not true!
Think about it, at least one of your all-time favorite shows has made you say… scratch that, SCREAM, ‘What the [insert colorful curse words here]?!’ at the top of your lungs after “killing” off a character. Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries have done it enough times that we should be on to them by now, yet we still fall for it. Every time.

Pretty Little Liars: Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal
Considering the entire premise of Pretty Little Liars revolved around Alison DiLaurentis’ mysterious disappearance slash murder, you can bet our jaws were hanging way down low when the notorious blonde graced us with a present-day appearance right splat in the middle of Season 4. It was back to the drawing board to attempt to figure out the clusterf*** that is PLL.
That then leads us to Hanna's erratic friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend(?), Mona Vanderwaal. When we saw the videos of her brutal attack, we figured there was lit-er-ally no way this chick could have survived that. As in all things PLL, we must expect the unexpected, because when we did meet again with MV, she was being held captive in A's lair as an Ali reincarnated. Freaky.
Well played, PLL, well played.
