Emma Watson Covers Teen Vogue, Shares the Moment She Realized She Was Famous
Emma Watson is every where these days! (Not that we’re complaining, or anything.) The 23-year-old actress is the latest Teen Vogue cover girl, and as usual, she gives a great interview, along with some even more stunning photographs to accompany it.
Showing off her natural beauty on the cover — seriously, how cute are her freckles? — Emma shines as she poses in a comfy blue sweater. Fashion is one of the topics during the interview, where she reveals some of her favorite places to shop.
“I shop at Aritzia and Topshop, and I also love A.P.C. and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Chanel is amazing, and I wore a really beautiful black Dior dress recently that I thought was really cool. And I love Christopher Kane, Peter Pilotto…I’m always keeping an eye out for people who are new or up-and-coming.”
When she’s not busy gawking over fashion, Emma is hard at work, and can currently be seen starring as a hard-partying, fame obsessed character named Nicki in Sofia Coppola‘s The Bling Ring. It’s not hard to see Emma’s dedication to the project, as she told the mag, “We were doing a scene in a nightclub and this girl accidentally put her stiletto through my toe! And the crazy thing is, I had so much adrenaline going through my system that I just kept dancing until, finally, I looked down at my foot and saw the blood.”
And even though the Harry Potter series concluded two years ago, Emma still doesn’t mind talking about the franchise that made her famous. She tells Teen Vogue, “I think, in a way, I was very protected during Harry Potter, because I was working all the time. I would get in the car, go to the studio, and go home… It’s past the point now. Harry Potter was so massive, I don’t know if [my other projects] would even touch it, honestly, even make a dent.”
She also mentioned that the idea of fame didn’t really hit her until she enrolled at Brown University back in 2009. “It sounds stupid, or completely unbelievable, but that was when I really realized that I was famous.”
