Is Emma Roberts lining up her next acting gig, or simply just looking for a good read? That’s the question that was posed after the 21-year-old actress was seen leaving a book store in Beverly Hills earlier this week with a copy of Lauren Oliver‘s Delirium in tow.

If you didn’t already know, FOX recently ordered a pilot based on the YA novel, and since Emma was seen with a copy of the book, it’s probably safe to assume she has her sights set on being part of the potential TV series. If Emma were to take part in the pilot, she would most likely play the role of Lena, a young girl who lives in a society that has essentially made love illegal. At the age of 18, everyone goes under a procedure where they are “cured,” but before Lena can be “fixed” she ends up falling in love. That’s one thing Emma isn’t having any trouble with as of late, since she’s been dating American Horror Story star Evan Peters since last summer.

The pilot has lots of buzz around it, as Karyn Usher, a producer/writer of Bones and Prison Break, has penned the script. While it’s definitely exciting to think about, pilots can be tricky since there’s always the potential of it not being picked up to series by the network.

However, if you’re needing a Delirium fix now, Teen has you covered!
