Eminem Goes OFF On Donald Trump And His Views In New Freestyle Rap
There’s no need to ask if the real slim shady can please stand up because he’s proudly kneeling. Eminem has RETURNED to our lives with a fiery freestyle rap video — which went viral, BTW — and the subject of his jabs is none other than President Donald Trump.
In a taped segment that aired last night during the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, the rapper appeared in a parking garage in downtown Detroit to spit freestyle about Trump. The video has already received a ton of praise from countless celebrities and fans. In the freestyle, Em tackles everything from Trump’s stance on immigration, to his attack on NFL players, to his controversial tweets.
He rapped in one verse, “But we better give Obama props // ‘Cause what we got in office now’s a kamikaze // That’ll prolly ’cause a nuclear holocaust // And while the drama pops // And he waits for sh*t to quiet down // He’ll just gas his plane up and fly around ’til the bombin’ stops.” And you guys, he was just getting started, keep your notepads open.
“Then says he wants to lower our taxes // Then who’s gonna pay for his extravagant trips // Back and forth with fam to his golf resorts and mansions? Now, if you’re a black athlete // You’re a spoiled little brat // For tryna use your platform or your stature // To try to give those a voice who don’t have one,” the 44-year-old continued to rap.
He is, of course, talking about the President’s damnation of Colin Kaepernick who started the #TakeAKnee movement in the NFL to protest racial injustices in the states. Unfortunately, some have misinterpreted the movement as a sign of disrespect to American patriotism. But Eminem cleared up the misconception by stating that the NFL protests have nothing to do with disrespecting the country with reason being that there are countless black soldiers who have fought for America but however are denied the very freedoms they are fighting for.
At the end of the freestyle, Eminem then sends a very clear message to his fans that is being heard loud and clear.
“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his // I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against // And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split // On who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this: F**k you // The rest of America stand up // We love our military, and we love our country // But we f**king hate Trump.”
Following the video’s release, the Internet was flooded with reactions of praise for Eminem. Many of his peers tweeted the following:

This freestyle isn’t the first time Em has spoken out against Trump. Last fall, he made a song called “Campaign Speech” that included bars about the Donald and, more recently, Slim led U.K audiences last month in anti-Trump protests.
