Teen.com Reader Shares Experience From Ed Sheeran’s Seattle Concert!
One very lucky Teen.com reader attended Ed Sheeran‘s final show in Seattle, Washington during his U.S. tour on October 6, and told us all about her experience! Read on for what she had to say.
I’ve never won a contest in my life and winning two free tickets to an Ed Sheeran concert is one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me. My best friend and I had an amazing night. When we showed up the line to get in was at least three blocks long and full of teenage girls with homemade t shirts.
Ed is one of the few artists out there whose voice is even better live. Every note he hit wowed me and everyone else in the crowd. His show in Seattle was the last one in his north American tour do he ended up bringing out his two opening acts (who were both amazing) and singing a song with them.
He was also really funny and charming. He wanted everyone to have fun and sing along. And when a girl threw a bouquet of roses on stage he picked them up and in his best American teenage girl voice said “Aww you really know how to make a girl feel special.” And I was so close to him. And even though the stage lights were super bright, we made some super sweet eye contact.
At the end of his set he told us to make a lot of noise so he could come out for an encore. He came out, an instead of singing one or two songs, he sang four! He finished off the night with “The A-Team” and the crowd sang along.
My friend and I ended up standing for four and a half hours straight, and even though our feet were killing us, it was totally worth it. Thanks Teen.com!
