YouTube Stars Domo Wilson and Crissy Danielle Split 2 Years After Engagement

By  |

Domo Wilson and Crissy Danielle, a.k.a. Domo and Crissy on YouTube, were always ultimate #RelationshipGoals, especially among the LGBTQ+ community online. The couple got engaged in September 2016, welcomed a child in March 2017 and was planning, of course, to live happily ever after. But, unfortunately, things don’t always go according to plan and the YouTube stars announced that they recently made the decision to break up.

The 24-year-old explained that nothing dramatic caused the split, but the girls simply realized they weren’t working out as a couple and had to make a change.

“It’s a sad situation,” she said in the announcement vid on their joint vlog channel. “We very much love each other, we’re best friends, and this is very hard. I want you all to know that we didn’t just give up — we really tried.”

The 22-year-old echoed her ex’s thoughts and explained, “None of us did anything wrong for us to break up… She treated me like gold… She taught me my worth. I haven’t experienced a toxic relationship in so long because of her and I appreciate that.”

Moving forward, the girls will no longer be posting on their joint YouTube channel or Instagram account, but rather starting the journey as solo YouTubers.

Domo and Crissy’s main priority from this point on is their 1-year-old son, Domonic. The exes were able to work out a custody agreement privately and the baby will spent 3.5 days per week at each parent’s house. But while they’re no longer together romantically, they vow to still go on family vacations, spend holidays together and do weekly family dinners.

We’re incredibly sad about the split, as we’re sure you are, too. You can watch them explain everything in their own words in the video above, but we must warn you — have tissues ready!
