People Have Mixed Feelings About the Disney Scrunchies at Epcot

By  |

Although they were super popular in the ’90s, the truth of the matter is, we can’t resist a good scrunchie every once in a while to keep the hair out of face and behind our ears… especially on a hot day. That’s why, park-goers at Disney‘s Epcot were treated to an ~interesting~ surprise when they headed into one of the parks many stores and found — you guessed it — scrunchies inspired by some of the most epic Disney animated movies.

That’s right, Disney fans! According to photos posted by @DisneyFoodBlog on Instagram, the park now sells scrunchies, which they call “hair clouds,” which are designed to look like some of your favorite characters, including Nemo, Dory, Sully, and Mike Wazowski. See?

If you’re anything like us, you can’t get over how cute these scrunchies are, but if you take a look at the IG comments, it’s clear that many people are not enthused by these new hair accessories.

One IG user commented saying, “Those are terrifying,” with another adding, “These look like dog toys that the dog already destroyed.” YIKES. But, even though a lot of people dislike these scrunchies, there are still some people who are kinda debating whether they’re cute or note. One person wrote, “Wow, those are horrible but I still kind of want one.” Hmm…

Even though they may look a little weird, a lot of people in the comments think they’re completely adorable and can’t wait to get their hands on ’em! One person said, “I just got them and they look so cute on!!! Love them!!!” Wow… guess you’re just going to have to try them and decide for yourself!
