10 Disney Stars Who Were Arrested for Drugs & Other Serious Crimes
September 27, 2018
Everybody knows that
went off the deep end a bit in the early ’00s — remember when she infamously shaved her head? Of Britney Spears course you do — but you might not know how many times she’s actually gotten into trouble with the law. The former Disney Channel star has been arrested two separate times. And she’s not the only Disney star to be put behind bars. In fact, there are 10 stars (that we know of) who have been put in jail for drug-related incidents or other totally crazy crimes.
Lizzie McGuire, Wizards of Waverly Place and more have been put behind bars for some serious reasons. Find out who, including another Mickey Mouse Club kid, right here:

The Queen of Pop has been to jail more than once. Her most notable arrest was in 2007, when the former
Mickey Mouse Club star was locked up after being involved in a hit-and-run accident. In addition to hitting a parked car and leaving the scene, Brit was charged with driving without a valid license. Yikes! A year later, the "Pretty Girls" singer was arrested again, this time for a custodial dispute.

That's So Raven alum has run into trouble with the law numerous times since his show went off the air in 2007. In fact, in April of 2007, Orlando was arrested for possession of marijuana, but that was only the beginning of his legal trouble.
According to reports, in 2011 he received a DUI while driving with his girlfriend in Hollywood. Then, in 2012, he was arrested twice for not completing the conditions of his DUI. Not cool, buddy.

We can pretty much all agree that Xtina is a total bad-ass, and while we absolutely love for her singing voice, it may surprise you that she, too, has been arrested in the past.
The Mickey Mouse Club alum got into trouble in 2011 when she was booked for public intoxication. The mentor on The Voice was with her longtime BF, Matthew Rutler, who was arrested for a DUI at the time, but they both were eventually released on bail and the charges were dropped. Yikes!

For a while, the
Wizards of Waverly Place actor was pretty much the most innocent person on this list. That is, until recently.
Back in 2010, while the show was still on the air, David and his little brother, Lorenzo, were arrested in California while visiting the Universal City Walk. According to reports, the two boys had a confrontation and verbal argument with people leaving the area and once Lorenzo was being held back by security, David supposedly became aggressive while protecting his brother. They were released after being held for about two hours.
Most recently, however,
David was arrested after TSA agents discovered that he was carrying a gun through LAX. Right now, David has three charges filed against him, including carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and possessing a weapon in a sterile area of the airport. If convicted, he could face up to a year in prison.

It looks like Lizzie's BFF, Miranda (from
Lizzie McGuire), isn't so innocent in real life. In July 2007, the California native was arrested for possession of crystal meth, but she managed to keep it hush-hush until April 2008. Before she pled guilty to the charges, she was fined $50,000 for not showing up to court. The bench warrant for her arrest was dismissed when she eventually showed up to court in February. Lalaine's record was later expunged after completing a drug-treatment program.

Smart Guy actor was arrested in July 2011 for basically being gross. Jason, who played Marcus Henderson on the Disney show, and appeared in Drumline, was reportedly put in jail after, wait for it, defecating on someone's lawn in Atlanta, Georgia. As in POOPING on someone else's property. All. The. Ick.

Although Mackenzie played the super cool, rocker mom on Disney Channel's
So Weird, in 2008, she was anything but a cool role model. In August of that year, the actress was arrested after airport security found what appeared to be heroin and cocaine. According to People, she was booked in Van Nuys, California and bail was set at $10,000. Mackenzie has had a long history of drug abuse, so this arrest didn't come as much of a surprise.

Way before he was even on
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Phill Lewis (a.k.a. Mr. Moseby) found himself in a ton of legal trouble in the early '90s. So, what exactly did he do? Like many other celebrities, Phill was caught drunk driving. However, he was charged for a crime that was much worse.
While drunk driving, Phill hit and killed a 21-year-old woman with his car. Sadly, the woman died and Phil was then charged with manslaughter, which is obviously something you
never want on your record.

If you're a true '90s kid, there's a good chance you remember the Disney Channel flick,
Blank Check, starring Brian Bonsall. While Brian was just an adorable little kid when the movie came out, he grew up to be, well, not entirely innocent.
In addition to two DUI's in 2001 and 2004, Brian was also charged for second-degree assault against his ex-girlfriend in 2007. As for his acting career? Yeah, that pretty much ended back in 1994.

Dutch Elijah Whitlock
Salt Lake County Police Department
You may not recognize him from his mugshot, but if you've seen
High School Musical (and LBR, who hasn't?), he's the skater boy that said, "I play the cello." We know it's shocking, but even with that iconic line, his acting career never quite took off. Sadly, this led him to commit a major crime.
That's right! Back in 2008, Dutch was arrested for attempting to rob a pizza place at gunpoint. My, how the mighty have fallen.
