Demi Lovato’s Mom Wants Her to Get Back Together with Wilmer Valderrama

After Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were spotted on a dinner date together last month, a source said that there’s a possibility that the exes will get back together.

“They’re super, super close and have a crazy love for each other,” the source told People magazine. “They’re extremely close friends but there’s always potential they could give a romantic relationship another try.”

Fans of Dilmer were thrilled over this information and the “Tell Me You Love Me” singer’s mom, Dianna De La Garza, probably felt the same. Why, you may ask? Oh, just ’cause she’s hoping a reunion will happen, too!

“I do like them together, I have to be honest,” the 55-year-old said during an interview with Access Hollywood. “I do like them together. I would be happy if they were together forever. But I don’t know anything about a timeline or even if it’s going to happen.”

She continued, “They’re amazing friends and hopefully one day it’ll be more than that and if it’s not, that will be up to her I guess. But I do like them together.

The 25-year-old admitted in her documentary, Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, which was released last fall, that she’ll always have love for the 38-year-old.

“I still love Wilmer,” she told the camera shortly after their June 2016 split. “I don’t know if I’ll lose him for the rest of my life…I think my heart’s always with Wilmer. I think that it was with Wilmer, I think that it is with Wilmer, and I think that it will be. You don’t share six years with somebody and not give them a piece of your heart, and vice-versa. I’m pretty sure that I’m not gonna meet anybody that compares to him, but I’m trying to keep an open heart and an open mind when it comes to that.”

You never know what the future holds!
