News Organization Blames Bombing on Ariana Grande’s “Revealing Outfits”

The pain of the terrorist bombing that took place at Ariana Grande‘s Manchester, UK, concert is still very fresh. Sure, all 22 victims, most of which were young girls, have been identified and the singer’s Dangerous Woman Tour was officially been postponed, but the world is nowhere near close to closure. ISIS took responsibility for the deadly attack, but Daily Mail columnist James Harkin seems to think blame should be placed elsewhere.

The man wrote, “Why would anyone target a concert by the American singer Ariana Grande? The grim answer may lie in the fact that with her revealing stage outfits, her stockings, pink bunny ears and unabashed sexual confidence, 23-year-old Miss Grande is a symbol of everything Islamists hate.”

EXCUSE us? While David poses the idea as a question, his undertone is clear — the young, female celebrity should feel bad about being a confident, proud feminist, especially now that so many innocent lives were lost at a place where she was “flaunting” herself.

The 23-year-old is obviously devastated by the attack that occurred at her concert — She tweeted shortly after, “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.” — and we cannot imagine how she must feel after someone basically said her CLOTHING choices were the cause. Disgusting.

There are currently bigger issues than one misogynistic man’s disgusting article, but you never know if Ari will respond — she’s shut down sexist haters multiple times in the past!
