Cole Sprouse Lists His Requirements for Sliding Into His DMs Online

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to get Cole Sprouse‘s attention on social media, listen good because he’s just broken down all the requirements for successfully sliding into his DMs, and they’re not at all what you’d think…

So let’s just cut straight to the chase here: Sliding into the DMs is no walk in the park and requires a specific set of skills in order to successfully get a response back, but thankfully the Riverdale star has come to the rescue… well, sort of.

Cole is notoriously known for his goofy antics when it comes to Twitter — whether he’s roasting his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, engaging in witty banter with his co-stars or listing off comical requirements as to what it takes to successfully slide into the DMs, he’s always keeping us on our toes.

Over the weekend, Cole posted a tweet listing off specific criteria, saying, “If you don’t jam to Dave Matthews, wear boat shoes and aren’t holding a fish in your profile pic — don’t even TRY to slide into a dm.”

Duly noted! Naturally, this caught the attention of Cole’s followers, including one Riverdale co-star, who seemed to be a perfect match. Casey Cott, who plays Sheriff Keller’s son, Kevin, responded with a photo of actually himself kissing a fish and perfectly captioned his response with a Dave Matthews Band lyric from the song “Ants Marching,” saying, “She wakes up in the morning.”

Well, if that’s not a perfect match, then truthfully, we don’t know what is. The verdict is still out on whether or not Casey was sporting a pair of boat shoes, but we’ll let that one slide because this photo was EVERYTHING. Many fans also applauded the clever tweet, saying that they fully ship these two and that this picture was everything they never knew they needed and we’re gonna have to agree on that.

Cole has yet to respond to Casey’s tweet, but we’re sure this won’t be the last of many ridiculous posts to come.
