Theory Suggests Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato Dissed Disney in New Video

The music video for Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato‘s powerful girl-power anthem, “Fall In Line,” dropped yesterday and there’s already a pretty interesting theory about the real message of the vid.

In the video, we see the powerhouse vocalists go from being carefree little girls to hostages in an underground lair. They are kept in cages, chained up and put on display with multiple cameras in their faces. Fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities between what was happening in the music video to what goes on in celebrities’ lives and came up with a pretty crazy, but spot-on theory about what it’s really about.

Twitter user demetriaaalove wrote, “Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera were both children actors in Disney and under public scrutiny, them teaming up and overcoming it is the concept of the Fall In Line music video.”

The person goes on to point out that the singers are kept in jail cells and the guards only let them out to go perform. She thinks that the men controlling the screens as the girls perform are meant to represent two Disney directors and continue, “Demi is shown to be imitating her famous scene from Camp Rock in the video, showing that at that time she was be controlled while with Disney.”

Christina started her career on The All New Mickey Mouse Club and DL’s big break came when she starred alongside the Jonas Brothers in Camp Rock. The 37-year-old said about the song when it first came out, “To anyone who’s ever felt silenced and repressed, the truth seekers and bold thinkers… may you liberate your voice and break the mold, never back down, and never fall in line.”
