Fans Legit Cheered After Selena Gomez’s Bestie Trashed Her Ex-Boyfriend
Tons of people have voiced their disgust with Selena Gomez‘s ex, Justin Bieber over the years, from random celebrities to Sel’s closest friends, like Taylor Swift, who’s made it pretty clear that she’s not a fan of the Biebs, like, at all. The latest person to publicly trash the “Sorry” crooner:Charlie Puth, who happens to be besties with Selena, too.
While in Dallas, Texas as part of his Nine Track Mind Tour, Charlie performed one of his latest songs, “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” The breakup ballad features Selena, so Charlie made sure he voiced his distaste with the “Hands to Myself” singer’s ex-BF. Before singing the chorus, the “See You Again” creator couldn’t be more obvious about his feelings towards Justin. In a video taken at the concert, you can hear Charlie shout, “F*ck you, Justin Bieber.” The most cray part about the whole thing? Fans supported Charlie’s blatant comment! After Charlie made the snarky remark, concert attendees legit cheered in support. LISTEN:

In the video, you can clearly hear concert attendees applauding the singer, so it looks like Puthers don’t care too much for the Biebs either. After trashing Justin, though, Charlie took to Twitter to apologize, claiming that the comment was intended to be a joke. He said, “I feel like I need to clear something up. What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke.” He added, “The way it was said mid-song did not sound like one.”
So basically, Charlie is saying that he got caught up in the moment and didn’t mean what he said? Okay. Based on the way fans reacted at the concert, they seemed to believe he was quite serious. And, in a very Justin-esque manner, Charlie deleted all of his tweets regarding the quote. If Charlie really is a “massive fan” of Justin like he claims, then why apologize and delete the tweets? Hmm…
