5 Must-Haves Items for Spring
It’s just about spring, and we’re more than ready to try out some new trends! Even if it’s still not warm enough for shorts and sandals, here are some absolute must-have items you can start rocking now, inspired by the celebs, of course…
1. Colored Jeans
Finally a denim look that flatters every figure! Whether you decide to go pastel or bright, colored jeans are a great way for you to bring some pop back into your wardrobe after winter. Anna Kendrick’s emerald ones look awesome dressed up with heels, but Ashley Tisdale looks just as hot with casual sandals. Delia*s has tons of options in every cut — jeggings, boot cut, and our fave, Britt Low-Rise Skinny Color Jean in Deep Purple ($39.50). BUY HERE!
2. Seafoam Green
The must-have shade for spring is seafoam — it’s light, fun, and says I’m ready for some sunshine. You can add this color anywhere — shirts, dresses, even nail polish (like OPI’s Thanks a Windmillion). Beyonce looks gorg in this seafoam dress she wore recently on the red carpet. We love Alloy’s Alison Blouse ($36.90) and GoJane’s Colorful Thread Heel ($26.40). BUY HERE
3. Spring Booties
Booties are the best way to keep your feet warm before summer starts, while still looking adorable. There are a lot of different styles to chose from (wedges, heels), but as long as you keep them in neutrals or light colors, you’ll look awesome. If you wanna be super-trendy, try these Floral Toe Booties from GoJane ($41.40) — we’re especially drooling over the blue ones! BUY HERE!
4. Insect Prints
We first became obsessed with insect prints when we saw Spencer’s bee sweater on Pretty Little Liars. Hers was from Urban Outfitters, but sadly it’s sold out. If you have a little bit more to spend, check out Topshop’s Flower Bug Print Shirt ($58), but if you’re like the rest of us with not a ton of cash to spare, we’re also coveting Forever 21’s Butterfly High-Low Top ($17.80). BUY HERE and HERE!
5. Striped Dresses
Sometimes you just need to get out of your jeans and a t-shirt rut. Striped t-shirt dresses are an easy way to look cute, while still staying comfy. Amanda Seyfried can run all her errands, star in movies, and still look effortless and classic at the same time. Want a unique but cheap version? Check out H&M’s striped jersey dress — it’s only $14.95! BUY HERE!
Which of these trends is your fave? Will you be rockin’ any of ’em? Tell us in the comments!
