By  |

By now, we’re sure you’ve heard about the long list of female celebrities who suffered the wrath of the most widespread nude picture leak in history. Movie stars like Jennifer Lawrence, TV stars like Becca Tobin, musicians like Ariana Grande — no one was safe from being a target! Now, many are firing back against the hackers.

Most of the confirmed victims are filing lawsuits; some are denying the photos’ validity; heck, there are even some fierce females who weren’t even a part of the leak that are getting involved. You go, Emma Watson! To keep up to date on who’s saying what, here’s the list:

Ariana Grande

Victoria Justice

“Shortly after I tweeted about certain pics of me being fake, I was faced with a serious violation of privacy. There have always been fake photos of me on the Internet, but I will not be put in the position to defend myself as to what is real or what is fake. I am angry at this massive invasion of privacy, and like the other women who are in this situation alongside of me, I am taking legal action to protect my rights.”

Jennifer Lawrence (via her rep)

“This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”

Kate Upton (via her attorney)

“This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton’s privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.”

McKayla Maroney

However, TMZ reports that, “one of Maroney’s attorneys fired off a letter to Porn.com… informing the site that McKayla was underage in several of the photos. The letter demands the images of McKayla — who turned 18 last December — be taken down immediately. Another attorney for the gymnast sent a different letter to multiple websites stating Maroney owns the copyright on the hacked photos.”

Emma Watson (who was NOT a part of the hack herself)

Lena Dunham (also not part of the hack herself)

Becca Tobin

Melissa Benoist

Kirsten Dunst
