Fans of The Carries Diaries, rejoice — it just got picked up for a second season! According to TVLine, the darling CW show based on the HBO series Sex and the City and Candance Bushnell prequel novel of the same name, has officially been renewed for a second season.

The show, starring AnnaSophia Robb as the title character, premiered back in January with a 13-episode season. It was originally supposed to air in fall 2012, but got pushed back. While we’re thrilled with the news, there’s still no word on how many episodes the second season will be, or when it will premiere. All will be revealed during the CW’s upfront presentations in NYC next week. (Side note, upfronts are when TV networks debut their programming line ups to advertisers.)

Last we left off on The Carrie Diaries, Carrie and her BF Sebastian (Austin Butler) were on the rocks after she found out he and her pal Maggie (Katie Findlay) shared a kiss. However, school was over and Carrie was gearing up for the summer of a lifetime in NYC as she interned at Interview magazine, and was going to live in a fab apartment with her BFF Walt (Brendan Dooling).
