Cardi B Co-Hosted The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon & It Was Everything
Cardi B took her career AND history to a whole ‘nother level when she became the first-ever late night co-host who isn’t a white man. To be honest, we’re sitting here wondering when the “Be Careful” rapper is going to get her own talk show…
Last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was definitely one to remember, but if you don’t have the time to sit down to watch the entire show, you’re in luck because have we got the highlight reel for you! The 25-year-old, along with host Jimmy Fallon, kicked the historical episode off with a super-funny opening monologue where they joked about President Trump‘s recent fashion faux pas in a segment called “What is Up with That Coat?”
After making some jabs at Trump, Cardi sat down with Jimmy and explained how she is hungrier to succeed now more than ever, crediting her unborn baby as the driving force of her hard work. The momma-to-be was also generous enough to explain some of her catchphrases AND that iconic sound effect — you know the one… “okurrrrrr!”
And because this is The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon we’re talking about, Cardi of COURSE participated in a wacky game called “Box of Lies.” She also shared some intriguing stories from her past, including the details of her prom night. She stopped herself, however, because the details were clearly too salacious for late night… Honestly, we really hope Cardi shares the rest of her story soon, because her reactions are too funny for it not to be amazing.
At another point in the show, CB also had some fun reading a section from the classic children’s book, “Go the F**k to Sleep.” She is SERIOUSLY our favorite co-host and interviewee of all time and we cannot get enough.
