The Twilight Saga: New Moon scored a whopping 5.8 million views in the 24 hours since its release — 4.2 million views on MySpace and 1.6 on MTV. Since then, a couple of YouTube copies have scored another 5.4 million views combined. Add up the subsequent views from MySpace and MTV, all the other YouTube copies, [...]

Is it me or does the Wolve look a little too “Golden Compass” Cartoonish CGI? When Laurent Sees the wolves he almost wets his pants as he quickly runs away from the meadow. I don’t think the Jacob wolve would give that reaction. Hopefully this is just the first look and the CGI gets better [...]

If you were at the recent amFAR charity auction in Cannes, you could’ve bought a charity kiss from the star for the low, low price of twenty eight thousand dollars. No, seriously. And here’s the really nifty part. Apparently, Rob’s been taking this whole Lautner thing seriously, because recent photos of him have him looking easily [...]

The first real poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon (not counting those teaser-y posters of Edward and Bella that came out a ways back) was just released this week: I see someone finally figured out that Jacob might be more of a viable love interest if he cuts his hair. With all you Team Edward [...]

I’m quick to land on Pattinson with both feet when he screws up, but never let it be said that I’m not equal opportunity, either. Apparently, the Twilight saga star swung by Cannes to catch some movies, including upcoming Tarantino war flick Inglourious Basterds, while he was wrapping up the Italian round of shooting for [...]

The clearly tormented stripper-beau Robert Pattinson is shaking in his boots, folks. In a new and interesting pose for Hollywood, Pattinson understands that celebrity is a tenuous thing, and it’s really only maintained by keeping his fans happy. Check THIS out! “You see all these people that surround you and you think that one way or [...]

Would it surprise you to hear that the script for New Moon was recently found in a trash can in St. Louis? Yeah, it got my eyebrows up too! Apparently, a beauty salon owner down in St. Louis was waiting for her fiance to get off work when she noticed some unusual items in a trash [...]

Summit Entertainment has found a director for Eclipse, the third film in The Twilight Saga: David Slade. Slade directed the 2007 vampire flick 30 Days of Night, as well as the mega-disturbing Ellen Page/Patrick Wilson indie Hard Candy. Summit looks to be going with a one-director-per-film rule, which is reasonable given the planned release schedule: New Moon, [...]

I know I’ve taken a lot of flack around here for being a Twilight hater, so in the interest of proving my objectivity as a pure hardcore freelance journalist, I present to you some evidence that the idea that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are hooking up realtime is, in fact, NOT as far-fetched as [...]

USA Today just landed the first still photograph of the so-called Wolf Pack from Summit’s upcoming The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The story finds Bella (Kristen Stewart) growing closer to Jacob (Taylor Lautner) after her beloved Edward (Robert Pattinson) takes off abruptly. (Of course, since Pattinson became an international heartthrob after Twilight came out, his role [...]

Summit Entertainment announced the full cast of New Moon (or, excuse me, The Twilight Saga: New Moon) as soon as it was finalized yesterday, as filming currently gets underway with new director Chris Weitz. (They better hurry — the movie opens this November.) New arrivals we didn’t know about already include Cameron Bright (X-Men: The Last [...]

Michael Sheen has been successfully genre-hopping between Oscar movies (Frost/Nixon, The Queen) and fantasy movies (the Underworld series) for a few years now, and it looks like that’s not going to let up anytime soon: he just signed onto the Twilight sequel New Moon as Aro, a leader of the Volturi vampire coven. New Moon director [...]

Okay, folks, brace yourselves and remain very, VERY, calm, because the stuff I’m about to lay out represents some serious speculation based on a limited series of reported points. For those of you who don’t believe what I’m about to tell you, here’s the citation. Point one: Robert Pattinson has reportedly been found getting very “physical” [...]

Seems that certain sections of the Twilight fan base are getting SO scary that they’ve even got Kristen Stewart in a panic. Her recent review with USA Today shows the lengths that some are going, and the depths of her own terror. Dig the word: Another thing that makes her stop in mid-sentence: teenage girls. A [...]

The producers behind The Twilight Saga: New Moon have cast British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower as Caius, a leader of Italy’s Volturi coven of vampires. Campbell-Bower is probably best known for a supporting role in the Johnny Depp musical Sweeney Todd. He begins filming his role, along with Dakota Fanning as Jane, in June.
