Just to let you know we are not talking about his life or his “fling” with Brooke! We are talking about whether or not they fit the character.
But then we must all remember that this is just a movie and these people need to stop getting so worked up! the world will go even if they choose someone else to play the part and you do not agree with there decision.

DUDE! Taylor is honestly the only one that could pull jacobs character off! And Michael is old!! Remember Jacob is like 16 or 17 not 32! (I don’t know if Michael is 32 but he looks it! I have read the books as I am sure many of you commenting have and I think that Taylor exceeds the expectations that Jacobs character calls for.

I think that they so need to keep Taylor because we have all got used to him and just because he isn’t tall dose not mean any thing. He just has to be taller than Bella because Edward is not even there to show how much taller he is. Taylor needs to stay because without him its just not going to be the “new moon” it could be. This new guy needs to fined a different movie because this one is not for him. GO TAYLOR

For all the people who have actuylly READ new moon, you’ve got to understand this guy would be sooo much more suitable to play the part of jacob! in the book it mentions how jacob cuts his hair and has a massive growth spurt….how is the previous jacob going to live up to that groth spurt? he is shorter that robert pattison (edward) and i doubt he is gnna be growing ! and this guy is so bad lookin either!

I’m not saying they will….BUT, if the Producer/Director was indeed going to change the character of Jacob to a different actor, and your choices were between Michael Copon or Steven Strait, which one of these two actors would you prefer to see play the role of Jacob and why?

I agree with most of you that they should keep Taylor as the part of Jacob for this sequel. However, IF THEY DO DECIDE TO CHANGE Jacob’s character to a different actor, I think Steven Strait(the main actor that plays Caleb Daniels in the movie, “The Covenant”) would be a better replacement than Michael Copon. He’s definitely not as old as Michael Copon and would fit the role better for what this sequel is looking for.

I really hope that they will change their minds and make Michael Copon the new Jacob! He has more experience with acting and look way more attractive than Steven. If your going to make a this movie, the characters must be very good to look at, vampires are beautiful flawless, sexy beings!! PLEASE change this actor!!!! When I took my boyfriend to watch this movie he never read any of the book and new nothing of Twilight, after watching it he said all the characters we ugly and he was expecting more of the movie. I was also let down after watching twilight, they should of named the movie something else and might as well not based it on the Twilight series.
