Antichrist looks like a neat, creepy horror film starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsburg (I’m Not There). Then again, it’s directed by a massive tool known as Lars Von Trier, who made a handful of pathetically heavy-handed anti-American films (Dogville and Manderlay) despite never having been to the U.S. because he’s afraid of flying or something.
He also wins the pretentiousness award for only adding the “von” to his name after going to film school.
This looks like his first real genre film, and I’m pretty sure the trailer reveals the ending, but with this guy you never know. See for yourself:
