Ghosts of Girlfriends Past seems like it’s been in the works for a while, but it’ll finally get a release on May 1st, kicking off the summer movie season.
A riff on A Christmas Carol, the flick stars Matthew McConaughey as a serial womanizer who over one night is visited by a series of ghosts who show him the error of his ways. Michael Douglas has the Marley role; Emma Stone (The House Bunny) is the Ghost of Girlfriends Past; Noreen DeWulf (The Comebacks) is the Ghost of Girlfriends Present; and Jennifer Garner is McConaughey’s true love.
Yeah it sounds just a little cheesy, but the trailer does have a big laugh at the end. Check it out:
