Felicity Huffman, Patricia Clarkson, Bill Pullman, and Campbell Scott all star with Elle Fanning in Phoebe in Wonderland, a surprising amount of stars for a movie that nobody’s heard of. Turns out that’s because it debuted at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and has laid low ever since, despite being nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.
The film, which is about an oddball kid who tries out for the school play, Alice in Wonderland, is finally getting a release this March and marks the first starring role for Elle Fanning, who’s appeared in Babel and Reservation Road and who seems to be following in the footsteps of Abigail Breslin — and her older sister Dakota, of course — to become the next big child actress.
