Come on, guys, he MEANS it! Michael Jackson is now on record as saying these final ten concerts he’s giving are his LAST! He’ll be playing them in London at the O2 Arena, and then, in his own words, that’s it, this is really it, that’s the final curtain call.
No, seriously.
If he’d added a qualifier on that, it’d make more sense. Maybe these are his last “until he needs money again”, or “until he’s got to mount a legal defense because some kid says he touched him” or “until his nose needs further modification after the flesh-eating virus gets to it”. But to say he’s full-bore retiring outright? Pardon my skepticism.
