Plea deal? Maybe not, kids…maybe not. Seems that Chris Brown is about to be charged with a matched pair of full-on FELONIES, including assault and making criminal threats.
This literally JUST hit desks, folks, so you too can join me in the incredible surprise that was running a bit late today. Dig the word:
“R&B singer Chris Brown was charged by the District Attorney’s office today with felony counts of assault and making criminal threats in connection with a February incident in which his girlfriend allegedly was physically attacked,” the statement reads, not naming Rihanna as the victim, per department policy on such domestic-violence matters — although it later refers to the victim as “Robyn F.” Rihanna’s given name is Robyn Fenty.
The maximum penalty for said felonies is a whopping SEVEN YEARS in prison, giving Chris a possible chance at an image change when he gets out from squeaky-clean Doublemint shill to full-fledged thug-core rapper.
A heartbreaking set of circumstances for all concerned.
