Well, folks, I’ve been calling it for some time now–and in retrospect, we all probably should have seen it coming earlier. You’ve just read about Miley’s new book, which details a lonely childhood filled with bullies and horror and resentment, but what you haven’t heard is how Miley briefly encountered Radiohead, and didn’t like what she found. Check this out–this is FROM MILEY’S OWN WORDS, on the Johnjay and Rich radio show:
“If someone, like, said that, like, ‘I would cry if I met them. I really want to meet them,’ I would freaking, like, run and, like, give them the biggest hug in the world because that’s cool, you know?”
“But they were like, ‘We don’t really do that.”
“They don’t meet one little kid who would cry and make their life? That’s the reason you do this! The reason that I’m in the business is because I like making people happy and it’s, like, I don’t get people like [Radiohead].”
…whoa. When you parse out the “likes”, a big task in its own right, you find that, basically, Miley is pouting that Radiohead, her favorite band, DID NOT WANT TO MEET HER. Radiohead was at the Grammys, where Miley was doing some presenting, and despite the fact that she was there and she likes Radiohead, they would not COME TO HER DRESSING ROOM and say hello.
Now it all makes sense. And really…it’s just SAD now. I find myself having a hard time mocking Miley Cyrus because the poor girl is just desperate for attention. That’s why she’s taking almost sexual photos with her OWN FATHER (who’s probably desperate for attention of his own after being a one-hit-wonder from fifteen years ago). That’s why she’s publicly mocking Asians, posing half-naked and jogging in swimsuits…and then complaining about it. She’s just desperate for attention.
…this really IS just sad.

Sharnelee–suggest you read my other posting where it’s discovered that Miley’s people actually reportedly call in the media where Miley will be in advance so she can be photographed. Then reconsider EVERYTHING you just said.

What is with you people?? This is why they hate reporters and everyone like that because they’re always butting in on their business and everything. Leave Miley alone to live her life. She’s 17 this year and has time to learn for her mistakes and everything. Who cares if she says ‘like’ a lot of times. i do to. She isn’t perfect you know? Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t make her any more perfect or better than we are so give the girl a break.

well i sorta agree with this i guess she is a bit of a attention whore but i think her father is the main one pushing for huge gulps of attention because as you see for the most attention geting moments who is in the back ground? that old mullet guy who sang a corny song and got lucky that it was the ninties and country music was on a down fall billy ray cyrus look he thinks he was a huge hit i mean reall musicians leave there mark but you dont see any modern day country singers with a mullet now do you? why he was a one… hit (shivers) wonder a forgotten soul trying to get his name back out there.

Wow- yet again I am truly entertained by the comments! Stevea- I am gonna pee myself laughing here, the spelling comment really got me. That and the don’t cry for her, argentina. don’t know why just made me laugh. Miley has average talent. She is starved for attention, just watch the 7 Thing I Hate About You music video (only one of hers I’ve seen so don’t have basis for comparison”. It was torture. And she is very whiny. But I guess its better that she is immature and annoying, than “going ahead and makin a sex tape already”

She really IS warning paparazzi in advance of where she will be and then complaining when they show up. She really IS whining that her favorite band won’t take time out to meet her despite her own alleged importance. No hate, all truth. If you don’t like the truth, I’m sorry.

Some1–um…considering you’re spelling your name phonetically and possibly lapsing into what I’m guessing is giria–that pidgin English / Spanish hybrid–you really don’t have much place to tell people how to SPELL. Also, quick lesson on karma. You can’t “not have it”. It only comes in two flavors, good and bad. And denying the truth isn’t exactly “good karma”.

I do not like Miley….all this stuff she does is quite annoying. I used to like her, but then I realized she was doing all these kinda things. She’s making a bad impression for younger fans. he isn’t even a great singer. She’s pretty average, I would say. But then again, I can’t stop other people from liking her. It’s upto them.

I think miley.. like her father have limited or no talents, nor good looks like most famous teen stars today, that is probably the reason why she welcomes any attention she could get. I do agree with you that it`s sad and pathethic…but I`m sure she`ll be forgotten soon, like her father with achy breaky back,.. of old age.
