You know, you hear about bitter celebrity breakups all the time. Some are better than others, really, and some are just downright scary. Chalk one up for the “downright scary” column, Madonna and Guy Ritchie. Check this out:
“Guy will say, ‘Oh, It’s in a bad mood today’. Even towards the end of their marriage, he would call her It. He told people, ‘We can’t make It angry’.
You know…when you start referring to your wife as “it”, you can tell you’re not in a good position. Even Al Bundy never referred to Peggy as “it”. And snide celebrity jokes about Madonna’s bizarre proclivities and seemingly perpetual youthfulness aside, Madonna’s really not an “it”. Unless, of course, all the snide celebrity jokes were right and Madonna is really just the outer husk for some kind of life-sucking alien or demon or some such, and Guy’s referring to the current inhabitant of the Madonna shell.
But that’s the kind of thing reserved for cheesy horror movies. Speaking of which, I’m totally claiming copyright on that idea, RIGHT NOW. Studios, drop me a line if you want the script!
