Man, oh man, that whole Chris Brown / Rihanna thing is spiraling wildly out of control, with new charges and lesser charges and chargebacks and everything in between happening on literally a daily basis. Chris himself may be hiding out at his momma’s house right now, but in the meantime, let’s take a quick look at what the stars are saying about the whole mess.
Keshia Knight Pulliam, formerly Rudy Huxtable of The Cosby Show told USA Today: “I don’t condone violence against women in any form or fashion, but at the end of the day, you’re innocent until proven guilty. None of us really know what those circumstances were because we weren’t there.”
NAACP Best Actress Award-winner Rosario Dawson opines: “If anything good can come out of this, hopefully it’s that this conversation will come forward, because we should not tolerate that kind of behavior. There are no excuses for it at all. I’ve met Rihanna a few times, and she’s such a sweet young lady and definitely my heart goes out to her.”
Sean Patrick Thomas, meanwhile, sounded the skeptic horn with: “I just know what you hear on TMZ or other garbage like that. I don’t know the facts yet and I don’t think anybody does.”
True enough, Sean Patrick and Keshia Knight–we weren’t there, we really don’t know, but we need to keep our eyes front all the same.
