Chris Brown has now pulled out of his commitments with the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend…..

Maybe this woman-beating youngin is doing this as a strategic move to get himself out of the spotlight, in light of his recent assault of Rihanna…That may be smart, but not at this stage of a soaring career!  Few child and teen music artists have been able to make a smooth transition from kid artist to adult artist successfully…and Chris Brown was about to do it! 

Even if his career doesn’t spiral downward at this point, missing HUGE events like The Grammy Awards and the NBA All-Star Weekend isn’t going to help this 19 year-old Ike Turner!
