Uh-oh, Christian–you got your MOM ticked off. Better get some flowers ready.
The interesting thing about this whole mess is that Christian’s mom really isn’t upset that he threw the hissy fit in the first place at some poor schmuck on set. That’s just his temper, you know. What’s got her clucking her tongue and wagging her finger at sonny Bale is that he went on so LONG with it.
Saith the Balemum:
“…I wish he hadn’t carried this on so long or so fiercely, it was upsetting to hear him. He is a perfectionist and if you are doing an intense scene and someone is spoiling a shot, it takes time to get it back. It sounds as if a lighting engineer got into the shot so I can understand his anger but not the length of the tirade.”
So you would’ve been okay with a profanity-laced tirade if it had only lasted fifteen seconds. You would’ve been okay with the possibility of a guy getting fired over this if Chrissie had just throttled back a little sooner.
Sounds like Balemum’s got some problems of her own….
