Beyoncé’s Vogue Cover is a Fashion Game Changer and Fans are OBsessed
After much anticipation, Vogue released its new September magazine cover featuring Beyoncé and fans instantly fell in love. The cover is more than just stunning, however. It’s a fashion game changer. The cover was shot by 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell, who is now the first African-American photographer to take on the honor. Frankly, the Beyoncé September Vogue cover has left us shooketh.
“For so long, black people have been considered things,” Tyler told Vogue. “We’ve been thingified physically, sexually, emotionally. With my work, I’m looking to revitalize and elevate the black body.”
The issue is also special in the fact that Queen Bey was given full control over it, serving not only as the cover star but also as creative director of the shoot. Clearly, Bey and Tyler did a marvelous job. Fans quickly took to social media to share their love for the cover:
