Exclusive: 8 Things You Need To Know About The X Factor’s Bea Miller
Most 13-year-old girls spend their days painting their nails and obsessing over One Direction, but when Bea Miller was 13 she was casually singing in front of millions and being mentored by Britney Spears on The X Factor USA. NBD!
Now at the ripe ol’ age of 15, Bea is coming into her own with a killer new video for her single “Young Blood,” but still remains a normal teenager with an unabashed love for Miley Cyrus and an obsession with The Fault in Our Stars.
Although she hasn’t even celebrated her sweet 16 yet, Bea is insanely cool (have you looked through her Instagram?), which is why we’re not surprised she’s BFFs with the boys from Emblem3 and the ladies of Fifth Harmony. We’re also not surprised that our chat with her was one of our favorites of ALL TIME! We love “Young Blood!” What’s the story behind it?
"'Young Blood' is lyrically the best song on my EP because it has both dark and light sides, which is truthful. I think it's the easiest song for teenagers to relate to because we all have so many personal struggles and we're all desperately trying to find ourselves but at the same time we're having the time of our lives and enjoying so many moments. So I would say the story behind it is that I wanted a song that would be a reminder to kids my age that they aren't alone, even when they think no one understands them."Photo: Disney
