Despite Desperate Attempts to Save Her Life, YouTuber Dies from Heart Attack

By  |

After suffering a massive heart attack on March 14, YouTube chef Felicia “Auntie Fee” O’Dell was in critical condition and on life support at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. While initial reports said that the 59-year-old YouTuber had passed away, her family was quick to tell people that she was still fighting and doctors were doing everything they could to keep her alive.

Her official Facebook page updated its status on March 16 to read, “Doctors are currently performing procedures in hopes of improving Felicia “Auntie Fee” O’Dell’s current state. PRAYERS ARE NEEDED MORE THAN EVER RIGHT NOW!!”

Fans waited on bated breath to see if the cooking extraordinaire would pull through, but sadly, they received heartbreaking news from Felicia’s son, Tavis Hunter, a day later — the YT celebrity had died.

The boy wrote, “Thank you for all the prayers and hope. It did all it can do and now god made the decision to take my mother home where it’s peace & joy and I’m okay with that; She can finally be happy. RIP Momma Felicia ‘Auntie Fee’ O’Dell I love you and you was my twin. When u was going through it I went through it, and now it’s time for you to relax and watch me do it baby.”

While Facebook fans knew of Auntie Fee’s passing at the end of last week, those who followed her on Twitter and/or Intstagram just found out the horrible news last night thanks to an IG post.

“The Doctors did all that they could, now… Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 #RipAuntieFee #CookingWithAuntieFee #AuntieFee,” the picture was captioned.

RIP Auntie Fee!

We still can’t believe these YouTube stars died last year:
