Ariana Grande Worries Fans with Emotional Tweets

Ariana Grande has had a rough couple of years, to say the least. Shortly over a year after a terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester, the 25-year-old singer has been dealing with the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, which has no doubt been super difficult. She’s taken some time off and has even been taking care of Mac’s dog, but it appears Ari is still struggling.

She’s tried to put on a brave face for her fans, but the pop singer posted a string of tweets last night that got people pretty worried. She admitted that things haven’t been “okay” and that she’s “so tired.”

Ariana Grande Sad Tweets

Despite the concerning tweets in play, she assured fans that she’s just tired and that she loves them.

Shortly after her tweets, it was announced that Ari would no longer be performing on Saturday Night Live tonight because of “emotional reasons.” She does have at least one thing to be happy about, though. News broke yesterday that Ari will perform on NBC’s “A Very Wicked Halloween” special, which will celebrate the 15 years that Wicked has been on Broadway. Ari will join Pentatonix, Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth and the current Wicked cast for a tribute concert that will air on October 29.

There’s no word yet on which song she’ll be performing, but if we had to guess, we’d put money on “Popular.” After all, she’s already covered the song before! And as hard as it is for the singer at the moment, we know that performance will cheer her up; Ari herself has expressed how much she would love to be a part of the musical. On an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series with Seth McFarlane, she said, “One of my dream roles is to play Elphaba. I would do it tomorrow!”

Well, now it looks like she might be getting her chance! We just hope that she feels up to the performance when the time comes around. But knowing Ari, she won’t disappoint.
