Ariana Grande Shares Sentimental Video of Late Ex-Boyfriend Mac Miller

By  |

Mac Miller‘s early September death hit us all extremely hard, but perhaps no one harder than ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande. In fact, Ari took to Instagram yesterday to share a sentimental video of her former love and it’s nice to see that, although she’s still grieving, she’s keeping the rapper’s memory alive.

In the video, which was a short black-and-white clip of the 26-year-old all dressed up, Mac was sharing a sweet moment with Ari’s grandma, who just so happens to be one of the most special people in her life. Then, the rapper took a moment to look back at the “God is a Woman” singer and flash her a sweet smile. While the video was short and sweet, we have to admit that it certainly seems like Ariana is taking a step in the right direction in terms of the healing process. If you haven’t already, take a look at the adorable video here:

This short but sweet tribute to Mac comes after Ariana announced that she would be taking a break from social media following her split from Pete Davidson, writing, “Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it’s hard not to bump news n stuff that i’m not tryna to see rn. it’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always.”

This week, however, the “Breathin'” crooner seems to be back and thinking positively. In fact, Vanity Fair reported that when a fan told Ariana to take as much time as she needs before heading out on tour, she said, “I’m ready. my heart needs it actually. finalizing a few more things but i’m tryna get em dates to u asap.” The tweets have since been deleted.

While some may say it’s too soon for Ari to hit the road and perform again, it’s important to remember that people deal with grief in lots of different ways. For Ariana, music and performing seems to be a great form of therapy, so maybe going out on tour again will actually be really good for her! Whatever the case may be, we’re sending positive vibes her way.
