Ariana Grande Cancels All Garage Meet-and-Greets After Eviction Threats
For years, Ariana Grande‘s been hosting garage meet-and-greets — as in, she literally met her fans and took pictures with them… in her actual garage. How cool is that?? Sadly, though, that era is over — the 24-year-old “No Tears Left to Cry” singer announced that she’s no longer able to host these kinds of M&Gs. And it sounds like she’s just as upset about it as her Arianators.
Ahead of her The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon co-hosting gig in New York City, the Nickelodeon alum posted the following sad note on her Instagram Stories:
“nyc babes i’m so so so sorry i’m not allowed to do the garage meet n greets anymore 🙁 i used to love doing them so much you know that but it’s just not allowed. i almost got kicked out of my apartment building for doing them in the past and i’m not allowed to do them here either i’m so so so sorry. i love you guys SO much. please understand.”
“what happened tonight made me so sad tbh i know you are coming from a place of love and so am i always but i just have to respect the building rules and security regulations.”
Thankfully, this does not mean the end of ALL meet-and-greets — just the less-formal ones.
