We Now Know the Release Date of Ariana Grande’s 4th Album, Sweetener
This summer is gonna be one for the record books. We have Shawn Mendes‘ third album coming out on May 25, then 5 Seconds of Summer‘s Youngblood is hitting shelves on June 22. And to top it all off, Ariana Grande just announced her fourth full-length CD’s name AND release date. IT’S ALL HAPPENING, PEOPLE!
So, what are the details of AG4? The 24-year-old’s upcoming studio album will be called Sweetener and it’s coming out on July 20; that’s less than three months away!
“It’s kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone’s life, or about somebody that brings light to your life, or sweetening the situation,” Ari said about the name of the CD as she took over The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night.
In addition to lead single “No Tears Left to Cry,” a poignant tribute to the Manchester terrorist attack, the album will feature songs such as “R.E.M.,” “The Light is Coming,” “God is a Woman,” and “Raindrops.”
Ari is planning to do something special on the 20th of each month leading up to the album release, so we’re sure the almost-three-month wait won’t be that bad.
